This is a dental practice on Martha’s Vineyard. Most of our patients are year round or seasonal residents, but if time permits, we try to help visitors to the island in urgent need of dental care.

History: Begun in 1981 in a second-floor office over some Edgartown shops, the practice moved to a handicapped-accessible office in 1985. In 2010 the office was moved from Edgartown to an office building a few blocks from the Vineyard Haven ferry docks. This modern space includes access from a full-sized elevator. We are on the second floor but see a few patients who use walkers or wheelchairs each week.

Services: This is a general dentistry office. To provide optimal care we refer to specialty offices when necessary. With over 30 years here we have found an excellent array of specialists in oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, pedodontics, orthodontics, oral pathology and prosthodontics. Some of those specialists are available on the Island.

Dental Insurance: This practice does not have contracts to provide reduced-cost care with any private or public dental plans. We require payment at the time of the visit. Publicly funded plans will not reimburse you. Similarly we can provide no services that are to be paid for by Worker’s Compensation Insurance. We will do our best to help you file a claim with your private insurance plan and we will often fill them out and mail them for you. We cannot guarantee they will reimburse you for your costs here. Nevertheless, many patients choose us despite some more cost than a dentist with an insurance company contract.

We are based at 31 Beach Road, Unit A202, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568 and serve all of Martha's Vineyard including Edgartown, Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, West Tisbury, Chilmark and Aquinnah.
